How do I find details of my nearest branch?

Use our branch locator to find the best site for you.

How do I register for Power of Attorney?

To register for Power of Attorney, you must obtain the correct documentation. These are available from your solicitor, or from stationers OyezStraker on 0207 232 1000.

To add a Power of Attorney to a Direct Saver or Postal Saver the Power of Attorney documents, or a certified copy, should be sent with a covering letter to:

Santander UK plc
PO Box 1109
Bradford
BD1 5XS

For security reasons all further correspondence regarding the account must be by post.

If the account in question is an eSaver, please call us on 0845 609 0014. We're open Monday to Saturday, 7am to 11pm and Sundays form 9am to 6pm. We'll then send you a Letter of Declaration to sign, which includes a variation to the account's Terms and Conditions. This covers the attorney's use of PINs, telephone banking numbers and passwords.

The signed Letter of Declaration should then be returned, together with the Power of Attorney documents, or a certified copy to the address above.

How do I notify you that an account holder has died?

The first step is to visit your local Santander branch or call our dedicated Bereavement centre on 0845 600 6025 and our staff will be able to advise you further.
